Settings: Overview window
- At startup,
- scan folder
Browse the folder to search at startup of the DICOM viewer.
- scan media
Choose the media to search at startup. CD, DVD, Blu-ray or removable media can be chosen.
- wait for user input
Do nothing at startup, wait for the user to open DICOM files
- Scanning mode (searching folders)
- FAST. Display text only, do not load images / icons
Scans folder(s) for DICOM files fast. No icon images are loaded/decoded. Results are displayed in text.
- SLOWER mode for pulldown received subfolders: load and display images / icons.
Folders opened via the pulldown menu of the received folders can be quickly viewed. Uncheck this to use the main scanning mode.
- SLOWER. Load and display images / icons
Scans folder(s) for DICOM files and loads/decodes an icon image for each file found. Results are displayed as icons/images.
- Media buttons setup
Assign removable media, CD, DVD or Blu-ray reader to the buttons in the overview toolbar.
If the drive letter of your removable media is not present in the pulldown list, plug in the removable media and restart the settings.
- Date format
dd-mm-yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy for display of lists of studies or series. Restart the viewer after this is changed.
- Show SMPTE test image at startup
Off, the color- or a grayscale test image.
- Icon display
- Positioner angles
Check to display the positioner angles (if values available) in each icon image in the overview window.
- Display filename
Display the filename of the icon/image.
- During loading, scroll icon-display to show last found images
Scroll to display last found icons/images during scanning of folder/DVD/etc...
- Disable stack search and display
Disable searching for stacks after a scan.
- Sorting of images within a series
Sorting order:
- Latest first
Display the latest files first.
- Oldest first
Display the oldest files first.
- Same as series
Use the sorting order for series, as set in the overview window.
Sorting reference and displayed time
- Acquisition time
Use and display the acquisition time. If not available, content time will be used.
- Content time
Use and display the content time.
After changing the sorting reference, it's advised to reload the DICOM overview.
